Not too long ago, I picked up my first-ever pair of Golden Goose sneakers (and shared them first in this post!), and received a number of questions about them since then. So many that I figured I’d dive in and give you a detailed review! Cettire had them on sale and I clicked “buy” right away!

Placed my order on April 28th and they were shipped to me by April 30th, so the shipping was super fast – definitely a bonus

How expensive are they?

I picked them up for $385.43, though they usually go for around $513.91.

These sneakers typically range from $400–$1,700, depending on how detailed they are.

Do they fit as expected?

They’re true to size in my experience, at least for me.

Since they keep their shape and half sizes aren’t available, I’d recommend sizing up.

How comfy are they?

They felt good right away. I wear no-show socks with them, especially since they help with airflow. They’re made with real Italian leather, so it’s much more comfortable than breaking in synthetic materials. Bonus, they’re already distressed so your feet just adjust easily.

How do they perform over time?

Because they already have scuffs, I didn’t worry about getting them dirty. I’ve worn them all over NYC, and they’ve held up beautifully. Nothing has torn, and the leather hasn’t stretched. Because they already look worn, I don’t really notice if there’s new wear and tear.

Do they feel better than other shoes?

These are the best sneakers I own. I wear Vejas and Tretons too, but Golden Goose wins in both comfort and quality. There’s a secret wedge inside that adds a little height — making your legs look longer. Also, they’re crafted individually, so each pair is custom-feeling. And the shine on mine? Next-level.

Would you buy again?

Totally! But I’d recommend waiting for a sale. They cost a lot, so getting them discounted is a better idea. Still, I think they’re worth a few hundred bucks, especially if you find a style that suits you. I went bold with sparkle, but a low-key version would also look great.
